A sweet sour chicken experiment

Tried making it with velveted chicken and rehydrated pineapple chunks. Hmmmm…

Velveted chicken does not work. The starch coating separated from the fillets and created translucent blobs of starch in the dish.

But the rehydrated pineapples turned out well. Not perfect. I should have soaked them in water overnight as they were still a bit chewy after an hour of soaking.

Sticking to my old recipe for now.
